Favs was the subject of a question in today’s “Personality Parade” in Parade Magazine, the Sunday newspaper insert. Is Access Hollywood next? No HC mention.

Q: What can you tell me about President Obama’s chief speechwriter, Jon Favreau?–Beatrice Greenwalt, Ovid, N.Y.

A: Favreau, 27, hails from North Reading, Mass., and worked for Sen. John Kerry after college. He met Barack Obama at the Democratic National Convention in 2004. Theodore Sorensen, who gained fame as JFK’s speechwriter, calls Favreau “a brilliant young man who is doing a great job. He may seem young, but in many ways, youth, energy, idealism, and dedication are an advantage in a presidential campaign and the White House.”
