June 14 2014 ACT Discussion

@nbph216 I mean my friend.Literally. -_-;

@VaishS‌ The Wikipedia page for the ACT lists a 36 as 99.96% and a 35 as 99.7%. I’m not sure how reliable those stats are but hey, they’re there haha!

Ok thanks! @RedWings5535‌

still no scores in CT! I feel like barely any scores were released today.

The struggle is so real

I honestly just want my damn score

They’re released by test center…Everyone at the neighboring test center has their scores, while absolutely no one from my test center does. Maybe it’s not by test center, usually tests from the same center tend to stay together in the grading process considering they throw them into a machine

Could tests be graded based off of what form you got; weren’t there different versions of the test? I was so nervous about taking it that I don’t exactly remember the details…

I think i got 72C

I had 72c aswell, havent gotten scores yet

I think we’ll get them tomorrow unless we made an error on our answer sheet/test booklet

I hope we get them tomorrow… The longer the wait, the more anxious I get about my scores. When would they begin posting them? Wednesday it seemed like they started later in the morning and only posted for an hour or two.

Is anyone still “registered”? Also, does anyone know how long before your scores are released does your status change to “tested”?

@conservativearts‌
Your status changes to tested right when your scores are posted

Still no scores. If the December ACT is anything to go by (but with holidays and stuff maybe it got delayed more than normal) I should be getting them Wednesday of next week. Hopefully they get in sooner. I’m dying to find out my score.

72C and no scores still.

Hey, I’ve got a quick question if you all don’t mind. I know it should probably be on another thread, but I was wondering what you guys think of sat subject tests scaled scores vs percentile. For example, for math 1 a 750 is 93% compared to an 800 in math 2 is only 83%. I know colleges add the scaled scores as part of the 240 index score (at least ivies), so how do the percentiles matter? I got a 750 in math 1 (took it along with 2 other subjects and didnt have enough time to study for math 2), so it looks to me like an 800 in math 2 wouldn’t even be as good. Should I study and try math 2 in the fall? Anyone know anything about the percentiles and how they look?

It depends on what school you’re applying to, and for what program, but really on SATII’s you should have straight 800’s if you’re going for ivies or ivy tier schools. I’d give math 2 a shot, but again it depends on the program. I dont think percentiles matter much tbh

Has anyone received their scores today? Or do they begin posting at 8/9 AM central time?

I haven’t received my scores yet.
