June 14th ACT ****************************

I literally had about a minute to do the difussion lab.

I remember I put starch for one beaker and I2 for the other as an asnwer.

Also, that the whole thing would turn blue?

Does anyone remember the last 3 answers? I blindly put C for all of them.

Does anyone remember 55-60 on math?

I ran out of time, so I had to circle in B/G for those last few.

Sorry, I know 59 was A.

I believe 59 for math was A too

lol, damn. Any B’s or G’s?!

Any B’s or G’s?!

So, I’m hoping the Science portion is substantially curved, since I’m seeing I wasn’t the only one who thought it was harder than the rest of the sections.

Hopefully…

i thought the science was comparable to the february science… maybe a little under that one… i thought the feb science was very hard… managed to get a 31 on science though, but still it was pretty difficult for me… this one was just about time on the lat 2 passages for me… i got tripped up on a couple and lost some time… but i think i made good educated attacks on the last passage and may have missed only one based on what some have said on that passage

What was the question for 59?

I thought April’s Science was easier but, since I wasn’t familiar with the time constraints, I didn’t get a chance to really examine the last 6 or so questions so my score was lowered.

i liked the first reading passage… don’t know what you guys didn’t like about it. yeah science was bad. and the last 4 math questions got me.

i thought the reading went well… the first passage was out there a little, but i was able to understand it pretty well… i think i made a 34 to a 36 out of 40 on reading… so a 31-33 ish i guess for my scaled reading score

The first Reading passage was overwhelming for the first 20-25 seconds. Then, I scanned the passage and it got easier as the questions furthered.

I didn’t put silence for that one question. I put the chaos in his life

omg and the last four math questions totally got me as well!

what was the answer to the (2/9)(x-3)^2 -1 question and does anybody remember the last 3 tubman questions?

what did the “lightness” mean for the first passage in reading? I dont think it meant weightlessness.

also, does anybody remember any of the answers to the conflicting scientists questions?

SoReal: I believe it was weightlessness. The passage described how he was on his back on the sand as he felt the water come and go from underneath him, making him feel like he was “floating” or however it was described.

lightness was weightlessness i believe… i didn’t think the other choices made much sense… and a lot of others here think it’s weightlessness too… i put silence on the “it” one

“what was the answer to the (2/9)(x-3)^2 -1 question and does anybody remember the last 3 tubman questions?”

it was 6 (i think the choice was D)
