June 2007 chemistry

okay, that makes me feel more comfortable. in most practice tests i took, for the 15 questions in this format, i would usually get around 6 F’s for Statement 1 so I got a little nervous only having like 3 for this test

Yeah I didn’t get very many F’s for statement I either…1 or 2 max.

And I think I remember the question yunu578 asked: was it “atomic radius increases as you go down a family” and “the number of neutrons increase as you go down a family”?

I kindda remember the 3.22 x10^23 atoms question, but I can’t remember the answer choices.

The 3x10^23 atoms was 22g of CO2

Anyone remember the question where there were two gases and the answer was there was 3 times as much as the other gas?

There was another question with partial pressure where you had to just multiply the total pressure by a fraction. I dont remember the numbers but maybe someone else does?

Still no one remembers the 0.1g of NaOH?

But wouldn’t 22g of CO2 be 3x10^23 molecules? Or did the question ask for molelcules?

i did 22g of CO2… & i think they aked for molecules… anyone confirm?

i thought it was atoms… but I don’t remember what I put. I remember another answer was 7g N2. I think I said 22g CO2, but that would make it molecules… lol…i dont know

edit: i think I might have said 7g N2??

I think it was atoms too  Eeek I hope I picked the right one.

Yunu what were you talking about awhile back (I don’t know how to do the thing where you show the quote in a darkened box lol…) but you were talking about three other questions

one was a partial pressure one where someithg was at 2atm and something was at 8atm… or maybe that was how many moles they had!? something with had and 2 I think. the answer was 3x as much…i said

yeah i remember that question, i think oxygen had a partial pressure of six atm and nitrogen had a partial pressure of two… i ended up choosing choice E which said oxygen has 3x more moles than nitrogen

Oh yeah that one… I think I put 3x as well.

What do you guys think 2 omit and 3 wrong will turn out to?

there was one multiple choice asking which one of the choices was NOT an acid, and i remember the answer being C2H6

At=radioactive naturally occuring?

Yunu: 780-800 depending on curve… you’re very lucky lol

^^ Yes. It’s after 83.

yeah clicheusername57, i put At as being naturally radioactive because i remember reading At is the least researched halogen and its very hard to work with because of the dangers due to its high radioactivity

Crap, I thought it said molecules.

Ugh. Anyone want to guess my score lol. 7 wrong, 0 omits? poss 1 or 2 others wrong.

anyone remember the question asking the oxidation state As in H3AsO4? i got +5 for the answer

i got +5 also

there was one about coefficient of H2O2 in some reaction. I said 2? Yes, No?
