June 2007 chemistry

8:):)!!!

800 yeayyyy.

rofl wats with all the 800s? i got 740 with 10 BLANKS DUDE, THAT ROCKS

NOT my day.

720, and I even answered all the questions. I knew I panicked too much and overprepared (so I struggled on the basic stuff; **** PrincetonReview for teaching me useless stuff that I didn’t need). I didn’t cancel because of the 800 MathII. So, I’ll retake in October.

800!! Woohoo! Congrats everyone :]

790 :-(…

790… my teacher thought i was one of the worst students in the class this year and i got the highest score in my school (on chem).

proving her wrong feels practically better than the score itself. =)

770 guys.

not bad, right? i need some self-esteem because of all you 800/790 scorers.

Don’t worry, 770 is pretty awesome.

omg i got 740 yay! i thought i might be lucky to break 600 because i thought the test was so hard!. so happy today.

geez. I just found this site yesterday, and was immediately floored by all the grades.

I was really pleased with my 680, but I’m retaking it next year after AP Chem. I figure a 680 without it isn’t bad at all, and with it, I might get up to an 800. Anyone agree?

I do agree.
I got a 690 and probably would retake if I were planning on taking AP Chem. But I’m not so I won’t. I’m happy with my score though.

720 in honors chem (that i basically taught myself b/c of my crazy, though used to be good, teacher) BOOYAHHHHH

I got a 690. That’s a pretty good score considering I didn’t really know much of the stuff on the test (I think I left 17 blank). AP Chemistry isn’t an option, but I am taking “Chemistry 2” next year. Unfortunately, retaking the test won’t help much since this will be my senior year.

The test is DEFINITELY a lot easier after AP chem! I would’ve hated doing it after just chem Honors.

740
That’s awesome

AP Chemistry? I took a incredibly easy honors chemistry this year and got 780. I didn’t even pay attention in class during the year and just fooled around, and then just studied during class the last 2 weeks for it. My teachers were idiots.

i took AP Chem and got a 720.

i guess i should have studied more. lol
but oh well, i am content with my score. :)

I think that it depends on what your AP class was like. My Chem teacher is amazing… definitely the most overqualified teacher at my school! She went to Harvard Law, was lawyer at a very prestigious law firm, decided that she hated that type of life and decided to “try” Chem again…! Anyway, everyone in my class was extremely well prepared… I never encountered a “What are they TALKING about!!!” question on any of the practice test. Even a girl in my class who had a D/C- throughout the course never scored below 650 on any of the practice tests. I’m really impressed by everyone who self-studies… I don’t know how I would do it without my teacher =P

my chem AP teacher was really bad
she wanted to coach swimming for my school or something
and the week before AP test, she biked into a tree branch and broke her collar bone , so we have to cram by ourselves with an ex-ap-teacher that kept showing us cut dissected lead battery and mercury batteries…
she ALWAYS have mistakes on her test, and we have to correct her to get our points back

basically most people had to learn to self study!!! which certainly paid off on the SAT

out of the 6 people i know in my class that took it
we got 3-800
1-790
1-780
1-760

it’s our responsibility to learn!!
