bird answer was photoperiodism
[Photoperiodism in Birds](http://users.mis.net/~pthrush/lighting/photo.html)

wasnt phototaxis the answer for some random organism (planaria?) that moved to or away from light?

lol, I did not know that one at all.

Isn’t a raw score off 77 an 800?? And no lower?

I highly doubt it…then you could only miss 2 to get 800 which is close to impossible (I feel). So there’s probably a curve below that. I hope.

photoaxis was definitely summer/spring.
periodism was birds.

… at least i really hope

“Phototaxis is a kind of taxis that occurs when a whole organism moves in response to the stimulus light.”

Correct. Thus, Shizzle and motivated’s answer is incorrect.
The planarian exhibited photoaxis (away/toward) light.
The bird and plant relating to seasons were both photoperiodism.
“Photoperiodicity is the physiological reaction of organisms to the length of day or night. It occurs in plants and animals.”
(Length of day/night alternates with seasons)

it was photoperiodism because its saying that it is responding to the length of the day or the amount of light at that period

no because remeber that humas can store carbohydates as glycogen and so can many other organims in their liver

and plus plants can reprosuce asexuallyy by self pollination and most vertebrates are not capable of that

I’m very worried about the curve.

^^typically whats the curve for bio?

Does anybody remember the answer to the question about plant experiment number 2?

I remember it was the one about the plant growing with a rod.

–I put touch… but the consensus on this forum seems like thigmotropism…

In my mind, thigmotropism would be the best answer. But I think I might have seen touch and just put the answer down immediately without looking at the other answer choices.

Can you guys confirm if thigmotropism was an answer choice?

Also, I distinctly remember the first mRNA-TAT asking what would happen to the mRNA levels, not the protein’s level. Thus, I put that it stayed the same.

can anyone tell me what 10 wrong, 1 omitted would be?
thats my worst possible score…

Thigmotropism wasn’t a choice: “touch” was the answer.

Has a definite verdict on whether the rainforest or grasslands produce more food for humans been reached?

i took APES - the answer is ranforest

Well, CB book for subject tests has a raw score of 77/80 for an 800. So I’m going to go with that, so many people take Bio and do well on it that the curve is probably one of the hardest among the subject tests.

Wait guys, if any remembers the order they put their answers for 5-9 and know it’s right, PLEASE SHARE. I’m having a hard time remembering because i took educated guessed for the most part. i forget 5…I put E for 6, C for 7, and A for 8. Please help!

Also, share if you remember the exact order of the questions.

Sorry for the influx of questions…but 1-4 were about like animal interactions right? They were parasitism, mutualism, and etc and then it went into 5-9 where it was about the photo…isms.

sd6 the answer is NOT rainforest. The answer is grasslands. Humans get little food from rainforests themselves but get pretty much all our grasses (wheat, oat, etc.) and livestock (which feed on grasslands) from grasslands.
