You needed to subtract the floor. It said he’s painting the ceiling and walls.

Van_Sant,

You can just graph it on your calculator.

if f(x) = log(x)
and f(x+3) = f(x)f(3)
then log(x+3) = log(x)log(3)
false

if f(x) = e^x
and f(x+3) = f(x)f(3)
then e^(x+3) = e^(x)e^(3)
true

oh crap…it wasnt f(3x)- thanks!

for maths2, 44 is usually the boderline

do u guys think this test was a difficult or easy test

^ Because log (x + 3) doesn’t equal log (x) * log (3)

Looks like lockn beat me to it :)

Also log(3x) doesn’t equal log(x)*log(3)… I think you may be taking of the multiplication rule which is log(x) + log(y) = log(xy)

I thought the test was slightly harder than the 2nd CB test, which required 43 for a 800. Hopefully the curve is that good! =D

ricky i got A which was 1 + 2i or something along those lines
i simply divided because as i recall (might not be remembering correctly, but…) they gave you the 100th term and asked for 99th term so i just divided by i

do you think theres a chanche it cud be like 42/50 41/50 for 800?

i thought this was way harder than the blue book test…that one was pretty good.

Kafka,

They gave you the 10th term and asked for the 99th. Unless I missed a zero, which is possible.

no i beleive klaften is right
they give u 10th and ask for 99th

Does anyone know the last few math II curves? Are they posted anywhere? I’m really worried about the suggestion that 4 wrong has been an 790, the BB disagrees but the BB is not always accurate.

it was not the 100th term, that wouldve been to easy, it was the 10th term

I’ve always heard that 44 is the magic score for a 800, but I suppose it could be a little higher or lower.

what was the may curve like?

Random answers I remember getting:
-12
-6 (for the geometric sequence one)
201 (for the triangle pattern one)
-F(-x)
12 for the distance between the ellipis and the line
2 (for the X/Z one)
1/X (for the function one)

the test, i think, was quite standard
a bit harder than princeton review, but quite like Collegeboard, but way easier than barrons

<a href=“College Board - SAT, AP, College Search and Admission Tools”>College Board - SAT, AP, College Search and Admission Tools;

during 2006-2007 the curve for the SAT II Math 2 was 90th percentile, so only 10% got 800 during that period. so it should depend on how hard today’s test was, which is obviously subjective meaning we’ll have to wait and see.
