@rickymatsui - I sure hope so. I did much worse than on all the practice tests, I think.

I used the law of sines and got an answer that was an answer choice. I believe it was 4.xx.

That is correct.

I got 10,080.
If you use the basic combinations principle you get 65876.

is 43/50 an 800 usually?

43 is an 800 if it is a more lenient curve – we have no idea if CB thought this test was hard or not

For similar triangles it should be:
sqrt(2^2+6^2-(2)(2)(6)(cos42)
=7.04

when i took it last june i believe i got 5 or 6 wrong and got the 800

yea i also got 10,080…order does not matter

SO:

There are 8 seniors and 3 positions= 8x7x6=336
There are 6 juniors and 2 positions=6x5=30

So, 336x30=10,080

Can someone please tell me what I did wrong?

sooo… it is legal to discuss the test in “general” terms even if not specific right…?

anyway, so i came out of the test feeling decent (4 omit) but now i think i missed like 5-6. what score is that approximately?

gah… hate stupid mistakes i can’t remember all of my answers tho, so maybe i didn’t get all of them wrong :)

@ vinvam: Combo principle: nCr = n!/[(n-r)!r!]

:/ i was mistaken.

how tall was that thing where it stretched to 6 feet above the guy’s head. what was the answer for that one.

Seniors: 8 choose 3= 8!/(3!(8-3)!)=56
Juniors: 6 choose 2=6!/(2!(6-2)!)=15

15 x 56 = 840.

You used permutations, where order DOES matter.

damnit… i forgot to add the guys height to the final answer
:(

i used mcgraw-hill, but only did 3/9 tests :/

I only took one test.

@chocorain
law of sines fixes it. I don’t know the numbers.

From what I inferred, order doesn’t matter, Bell… Because there’s no “Pres” or “V.Pres”, just two juniors and 4 seniors.

Oh well. If I’m wrong on three questions, so be it. (I forgot to add the height too, ***/stupid mistakes)

hmmm… retake for sure… Hopefully i got around a 750.

“when i took it last june i believe i got 5 or 6 wrong and got the 800”
was the test hard?

height was like 54

Bell Curves, you are right.
gahh…
