on the blue book, isn’t 3 skipped, 2 wrong an 800 on both tests?..i dont want a 790 (as impressive that is)…

almost 19k views, wowow

@ thequestionmark

here is an example, that is exactly the same from the test
the question asked what percentage of people scored from 70-90, and the example has the box on the edges 70-90. 50 percent of the people scored from 70-90, while 25 scored under 70, and 25 percent over 90

^haha i swear this thread was moving so fast at one point…

skipped none… pretty sure i got a perfect.

its so late now, i remember that box and whiskers box from 7th grade, o the joys -.-

I found the math to be what I was expecting. Although, like everyone else, I didn’t quite finish in time.

Hoping for somewhere in the mid 700s. But who knows since I can never seem to remember any of my answers to check on this topic. :p

I omitted none, so how many do I need right(or wrong) to get a 700 at least?

hmmm i skipped 3 but i think i got pretty much everything else that’s been discussed right so far.

so hope hope hope for a good score!!

How many of you guys got one of the I’ve never learned this before problems on math? Lol, I’ve never done stats and I do not know what standard deviation is. Although my dad explained it and it seems pretty easy.

for the exponential one:

plug dem numbers into yah calculator:
L1 L2
0 The initial units
5 The total for 5 weeks
10 What the total was for 10 weeks

do Expreg L1,L2 and get the formula. plug in and get teh ans

standard deviation question was {8,10,10,10,10,12} right??

and the picture of two wacky graphs was -f(-x) right??

i took the sat^^^
yes thats what i got

what was the answer to the question that required exponential regression…23?

Does anyone have any idea what my score would be if I skipped (i.e. didn’t get to) the last seven and got another one wrong?

I thought the questions were super easy (up to 44, at least) but I got cocky half way through and started going too slowly… stupid me.

do you remember the question for borrowing tax etc? I completely missed that

Oh, and how about the cellphone one? like it sold 400 and 5th week it sold 850 and how many weeks to sell 10000??

^ That was the exponential regression one … I forgot the answer, but if you didn’t use exponential regression you probably missed it.

For the boxplot one, I know the Q1 and Q3 and interquartile range and crap. I did AP Stat so I knew right away what that graph was (I was pretty surprised it was on the exam). But the values given for then range we were to find were slightly ABOVE and BELOW the Q1 and Q3 respectively. I don’t know if that’s nitpicking and now that I think about it its probably not enough to bump it down to 40% but I said 40% (B?) anyways. Anyone care to debate?

I put 75% for that one… prob wrong
