June 2010: Biology

@derek, plz add on more! i need to know how many right i got! lol.

umm most colleges cant. but a some ivies and a few other schools dont honor score choice.

^not if you cancel them. When you cancel, your answer sheet is ripped before it’s even graded. So colleges won’t see those scores.

but @fresh101, dont you want to know what u got? wut if u did get that 750? lol. u may never know…but im SCARED GUYZ! AAAAAAAAH!

i realy hope its a lenient curve, do you guyz think it will be? no one responded to my “WAS THE MAY LENIENT?” question?

Ok i checked the Yale website. Im applying regular decision; so, the deadline for SAT’s is December 31. Ill be taking SAT in OCt and November retake if i must. If not then, ill take SAT II bio (being more prepared) next november. Even if i do retake the SAT’s for the third time in November, i can still take the Bio one in December since the test is on the 4th. the scores should be out by December 25th, before the 31st deadline of december. Which is perfecto! Ok so im going to cancel. Thanks guys for the help!

I AM FREAKING OUT. will they rip up m answer sheet n not grade it bc
I DIDNT SIGN THE OATH? :/

since posting in these threads is technically against the CB rules, is it possible to get in trouble for this??

is it the same as aps?

“-diverse flora and fauna with high precipitation: rainforest
-biome with permafrost, cold: tundra”

does anyone else not remember these questions at all? the only biome question i remember is the chaparral one…

For one of the questions regarding rabbit overpopulation in Australia and introducing a virus to control the pop, what was the reason why that wouldn’t be a good idea?
I remember the choices being b) virus infecting native species, c) rabbits may have stronger grazing capabilities, and e) there would be many empty niches if the rabbits died.
Idk if that was E or M… but does anyone know the answer? ><

i dont remember that either, i think that is part of E

i took E though and still don’t remember those two questions…

Sorry, I must have been thinking of next years questions ;)

anyone know the answer to that question about australian rabbits and the disease that was gonna be used to reduce the population?? was the answer that niche thing??

If I didn’t omit any, how many would I have to get right to get a 750? Sorry I don’t understand the curve stuff :|

Virology, a good amount lol
It really deepnds on the curve.

@almostsk8tr, i am very scared. umm…wait lets say i got like 10-11 wrong…wut would that be…consideirng i skipped 3?

what was the answer to the mitosis graph. was it the one where the line doubled, then went to its original position, and then went up and down again and again?

The answers to the cell division one was the one that looked like a bra and the one that went down and never came back up.

desigirl: I’m expecting a similar outcome. I omitted four and I found out I can get 12 wrong and still meet my goal of 700. The curve may change so you will probably be around high-600/low-700.
