@loak, No i do not believe so[Nitrogen], the answer was radioactive carbon dating.
@Orange, 4 omitted 10 wrong is without a doubt still 700+, depends on the curve which I feel will be lenient.

@almostsk8tr: Thanks. I thought that. I think if I get less than my goal I’ll retake it.

Can’t wait for the 25th.

24th, according to the CollegeBoard’s website (:

I read it was the 25th.

Guess they were wrong. You saved me a day of waiting. Thanks :D

thank the lord, I thought the test was OK. A few questions that were weird here and there, but overall I think I range from -1 to -4. I make very silly mistakes, and I hope that isn’t the case. ALOT of it was application, which is probably what threw us off – the practice tests were direct facts from the book.

This curve will be much more leniant (I hope), and that would be logical. Everyone said it was hard, and collegeboard is making the AP’s MUCH MUCH easier…look at USH! But anyways, I’m feeling pretty darn confident.

Good luck to you przgonna haha… I thought it was alot harder then may, and much more application like you said. It’s hard to prepare for something like SAT Bio when all the materials at your disposal reflect direct facts.

I have two questions here. First off, can anyone post the website where collegeboard shows what the raw score will translate to? And second, why are people going to cancel? Can’t you just retake the test?

You can just retake the test, but some colleges require that all scores be sent making retaking the test seem pointless. Why would someone want a bad score and a good score when they could just have one good score?

:)

from you experience, may i know which prep book is good for this test?

haha thanks almostsk8r, and yeah, I was so scared when I opened the test booklet and saw these huge words and that dreaded diagram…I got so scared. I guess my prayers were paid off and I made the best guesses in the world haha. And I honestly think they are going to make the curve more leniant – if alot of people do horribly, the test was obviously “rigged.” I’m not sure if this is right, but don’t they want to make america look smarter? Anyways, good luck to all of you. The most frightening test so far in my life is finally over.

@mathlete

Honestly, if you pay attention in class you will easily ace the SAT Bio. I didn’t pay attention in class too often. But the Barron’s and the PR work together wonderfully; PR is great to run through once or twice, and Barron’s is great because of its diagrams and its “over-preparation,” which is good. Practice tests are the ones that really helped me the most.

First off, can anyone post the website where collegeboard shows what the raw score will translate to? Anyone?

@Bioboy: I’m using my Barron’s book. xD;

Did anyone get that problem where it asked which was a characteristic of an individual, and not a population?
I chose phenotype…

Phenotype…

YES, score.

Thanks!

Collegeboard doesn’t show the conversion chart if I’m not mistaken. But,
@mathlete, quite honestly the books that will help you are what przgonna said. But don’t get to caught up the information and learn more to apply. Of course you want to do both but if you get stuck in straight facts you may not do as well. Which I am sure is the case for a lot of people in this June test.

I thought that the application questions were hard especially for M. The chick one was the easiest of them all.

The limewater thing really did mess me up. @_@
And the one with gray and red soil and stuff.

I’m SO mad they didn’t put any diagrams on that test. D: I self-studied for those for FOREVER, haha. And ***, I don’t recall any cellular respiration/photosynthesis questions. x_x

So who thinks they did the best?

did anyone get that for the A, AA, a, question, the frequency of the a would increase? (that was an ecological question)

I don’t know, so far I think I have around like 6 questions wrong and 3 omitted? I hope they have a good curve. But if basing off of their old released tests, that is still around a 770.
