@Android1577- 800 no sweat.

I don’t exactly get what you’re try to say. Complex roots come in conjugate pairs. We’re given one, so the other one is the obvious answer.

so perfect pixie by your logic, for the equation x^2+2x+1 since 1 is a root -1 should also be a root (not true)

wth? Read his post first.
You cannot have an odd number of complex roots in a normal function, or else you’ll have imaginary numbers in your function. The point of congugates cancels out the second term (i) so it becomes -1, a real number.

True, but since 2i+3 (or whatever number it was) was given as a root, then there has to be another root that forms a pair with the given root.

random question: are we allowed to discuss the questions after 2 hrs after the test like the AP or is this deemed “illegal” by CB?

It’s illegal. You can’t discuss them at all.

Supposedly…

I don’t see what the issue with the complex root question is, since all you need to do to find the conjugate of a given complex root is to reverse the sign of the imaginary part while keeping the real part. So (2 + 3i) gives (2 - 3i), etc.

i think two of the answer choices when multiplied with the given gave real numbers.

Wasn’t the limit of x^x, x>0 = 1?

And again can someone clarify what the “graph shift” question was?

Doe anyone know the answer to the composite question.

f(x)= x^2+1 g(x)=x^3+1

f(g(x))= ?

I solved to get something that wasn’t in the answer choices…

@sententia- i also do not remember any graph shift question.

yes the limit was 1

@space- the asnwer was x^6 + 2x^3 + 2

is there a consolidated answer list??

I second that–does anyone want to make a consolidated answer list if there isn;t already one?

does anyone remember the first five answer choices? and the specific number 3 question?

also wasnt number 5 the thing with the girls and boys? wasnt that one C? something like b= 2(g-10)?

we are also missing the commission question. I got A for that.

And also I don’t remember the graph shift question

What would 11 skips and 2 wrong be? would it be at least a low 700? like 700 or 710

Yeah it should be somewhere along those lines.

you would get a 740. congratz

actually idk. this test was super easy and I am a sophomore. I think the curve might be

this should seem right eh?
