***JUNE 2015 ACT DISCUSSION THREAD***

Hmuuu guys :wink:

HAAHHHAHAHAHAHA are you serious. People talk about questions on the sat thread all the time. Im surprised peopel are scared on the act thread…

ENGLISH: One of the English questions about remnants made NO sense. The first and second passage were actually really tricky. I’m usually real good at that. I probably missed 2-4 on English

MATH: I’m usually really bad at math but this went okay. There were 1 or two questions I guessed on in the first 40 questions. 40-50 I guessed on 1 or 2. And I guessed on 3 for 50-60. Overall I probably missed around 6-9 questions.

READING: I studied the most for this so for me it was a breeze. I probably made a careless mistake somewhere but I don’t expect anything more than -3 questions. Hoping for at least a 34.

SCIENCE: I ran through this section. I guessed on a handful without second thought. I ended up having time left to check some of the ones I guessed (even though I barely understood what they were saying. In all, im expecting around -5-7 questions.

Estimates: 33E, 30M, 34R 29S

fingers crossed

Did you guys get any bs or gs in the last 50. I pretty much guessed on all of em and would like to know if i got any right

No, but I am. You are not allowed to discuss test questions.

Guys we should start some sort of discussion on Reddit so we can comply by College Confidential’s rules, otherwise any sort of discussion here about the test would be useless.

There’s a thread on r/act

Because of whats been happening on reddit i wouldnt be surprised if we wernt alowed there either

@ cool dude We should be good there

@cbcontrolsmylife how do you know the curve from april? Is there a link? I haven’t been able to find it anywhere.

Guys what do u think this will be:
-3 on english
-0/1 on math
-1 on reading
-2 in science

@randxyx 33/36/35/33-34

English- I feel better about it this time than I did last time but I got a 33 last time and I don’t foresee me scoring higher than that so I’m not sure.

Math- I was feeling really good about it for the first 45 questions but then she called 5 minutes and I still had 15 questions left lmao… Last time I got a 26 on this section so I know it’s my weakness for sure. But praying!

Reading- Felt really really good about this. Hoping for a 33/34.

Science- Again, I felt really good about this. I’m hoping for a 32/33.

If I never had to take a math portion I’d be golden!! I’m just hoping to crack a 30. Last time I got an overall score of 29 and my goal was 30 so that’s why I retook it; the second I hit that I’m done.

Also the essay was pretty easy :slight_smile:

Hope everyone did well!

The ACT didn’t misprint the times for a section, which is a plus.

This thread died pretty quick…Lol

Should I just use my free score reports on schools that require test scores from ALL dates?

If you used a fee waiver, will you be able to submit scores for free in addition to the first four?

@Pbobby No it’s not

Can someone estimate my composite based on this:

English: -10 at most
Math: -13 at most
Reading: -4 or -5 at most
Science: -6 or -7 at most
