***JUNE 2015 ACT DISCUSSION THREAD***

What do you guys mean by no correct answer choices. I highly doubt that the act would make such an error and just eliminate the question.

I am a junior. @elise303 I took the sat in June and after taking this ACT in just focused ok increasing my ACT score for September because I don’t think I did my best on this test.

*in June I’m focused on increasing

@rawbraw981 We all agreed not to talk about the questions when we took the ACT. While it is totally stupid, I think CC is just protecting themselves.

@elise303 I am an incoming senior and this is my second time taking the test. If I don’t as well as I’d like, I’ll take it again in Sept. I’m only applying to UC’s and they allow you to take it up to December so I’ll take it again if I don’t like my Sept. score.

@rawbraw981 Well, the rule about not discussing questions is the ACT’s rule, not CC’s. I know the SAT is recycled internationally (in other words, test questions used in the US are reused on international exams later in the year) which is why I would assume discussing questions online is against the rules. It seems foolish and rather lazy to do this amid so many cheating accusations, but it’s what they do. They might do the same for the ACT- recycle test questions.

@waddups anxiety was an answer choice but the answer was sadness. It was explicitly stated in the passage. And I can’t remember what I got for the last four. Sorry!!!

Did anyone who took the april test get their test release stuff? If so can you post the math curve from april

Do you guys think taking the ACT 4 times looks bad for colleges to look at?

@Rawbraw981 It’s the Terms and Conditions of ACT to which you agreed.

@vanihbam there was someone on the April Exam that received the test release.

I feel like I’m the only one on here who already forgot most of the questions.

Can somebody predict this score? E: -7 M: -5 R: -4 or -5 S: -2 or -3

My proctor didn’t even read any of the instructions from the booklet they are given and then some of us (including myself) realized we didn’t fill in the form number at the top of the page with all the bubbles and he rudely gave me an eyeroll as he showed me my booklet again for me to fill out the form number… I feel like this is definitely against the rules or something. Would anything happen if I reported him?

^lmao. Would u seriously report him or was that a joke?

Only your scores from your best test are sent. You could take it ten times and colleges would never know… Unless you told them.

^Thats not true

@waddups I can’t discuss the other question. If no one else noticed the other error, I am probably wrong.

English was def harder than usual. Otherwise it was a fairly normal test

The sentences were just made to sound somewhat odd, they were correct
