Junior-Senior transfer On Campus or Off?

On-campus, you’re either going to be in Rogers (which isn’t terrible, but there’s a reason it’s the cheapest building on campus to live in), or you’ll have practically hit the lottery if you are assigned to somewhere like Traditions or Ragans (which are both nice, but also cost over $800/month- ~$3300-$3500/semester).

Also, a car (especially if living off campus) is almost essential. If you have a car, it is a good idea to bring it- the buses around town are quite honestly less than reliable. While you can survive without a car (and I did it for nearly 3 years here), I highly recommend bringing a car if you have one. It just makes things so much easier (except for parking, sometimes).

[There’s also a very good discussion on this same topic located here.](http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/florida-state-university/1379931-live-campus-off.html)
