Junior Transfer With Only 1 Semester of Grades

Your AP credits won’t count as credits on a transfer application. The schools you are applying to will look at your high school record and your one semester of college and evaluate you on that. After you are accepted, they will give you credit for your AP courses if that is what they do. Some schools give credits for AP, some don’t. Generally, the more selective the school, the less likely they are to give AP credit.

I think it’s going to be hard to transfer to a highly ranked school with a sub 3.0 high school GPA and one semester of college.
