Just got a Likely Letter

<p>It does seem really rare to get a Likely letter from Wash U, but it’s proven that they do exist (excluding the early notification of the merit scholarship finalists). Not sure how they decide who gets them, but, again, it appears to be very rare – more rare than the Ivies. </p>

<p>But, then again, Wash U also tends to release admissions decisions in March, anyway, before any other top college… so, by one interpretation, EVERY Wash U acceptance can be construed as a “likely” in the sense that you learn of your Wash U acceptance before other colleges :)</p>
