<p>@SharingGift: While you’re probably right that AOs most likely aren’t stalking CC, there have been a few instances over the past few years where I’ve seen an AO come on and post something. One was an Andover person, who, IIRC, posted something to clarify policy on something or other. So, they do come here.</p>
<p>Part of my motivation is to try and protect kids from sharing too much info about themselves here (especially when they are in the application phase). <p>But more than that, I was just trying to ensure kids/parents don’t get their hopes up too high (or spirits too low) from one interview.</p>
<p>To Axelrod’s point, I do think the schools want to know that you are their first choice. I don’t know that an online forum is the place to make that point. And, and as I saw firsthand two years ago, what starts as a first choice can fall quickly from favor.</p>
