<p>It’s all done by points. So if you have a high GPA even if it’s below the average GPA, the points will help with the score. </p>
<p>Here’s a hint. Try to make your community service hours add to be above 200+ for at least 300 points. And oh, if you’re from a poor school you get an automatic 300 points. If you have a single mom/dad you get 150 points. Isn’t that sad? </p>
<p>So it’s totally objective. They don’t care if you’ve been in something for 8 years, cause it’ll only be considered as 300-500 points on their scale. </p>
<p>I didn’t get into UCSD the first time because of the comprehensive review score. So I appealed in an effort to gain myself for more points. </p>
