I like about the reactions to this - not necessarily here just in general: we talk about how hard it is for kids with nothing, with no money, no parents, growing up around gangs and yet we have no problem locking them up for possession or whatever crime because … and then there is a guy who has had every break in the world as a teenager, who was signed as a 14 year old by a real producer with connections to Usher, who has tons of money … and people make excuses for him.

Apparently, while not meeting the threshold of BAC .02 for DUI under 21, Bieber tested positive for xanax as well as pot. Based on the descriptions of his behavior and results of his sobriety testing at the police station, he had no business being behind the wheel of a car, much less drag racing.

DUI can include pot and Xanax. Also in many states any alcohol in the system can be a DUI even if its below the set limits.

^^^Yes, I realize that. He just didn’t meet the BAC threshold. And you are correct; in my state, if an underage (under 21) driver tests positive at any BAC, it’s a DUI.

Here are the Florida laws. Since it was reported that his license was already suspended some rules will not apply.

^^^^Niquii, if only. :D

I think all of Justin’s recent dustups will disappear. He’s got super attorney Roy Black smoothing things out in Miami, Mayor Ford’s covering Justin’s back up in Toronto, and I think Justin is selling his house in LA, so that’ll quiet down the neighbors out there. All this stuff will be forgotten about soon.
