With all due respect iubaccounting, I strongly disagree even though the advisor is right.
OP, Absolutely take E201 (and maybe E202) outside of IUB unless you’re majoring in Econ. Check out the grade distributions and professor reviews for those classes and you’ll know why I feel so strongly. In addition to M119, M118, and A100, the Econ classes are nasty at IUB.
Take Pols-y 101 (not 100) for a relatively easy A and an interesting class.
I would skip csci-A 100 unless you really have never seen Excel or are afraid of computers.
Definitely take more than 13 hours but not more than 16 in the fall. If you are not in Hutton Honors already and would like to be, you need 14 hours first semester to be considered. Hutton Honors will allow you to take honors sections courses with better profs and curves.
Use your Freshman schedule to boost your GPA and credits for registration priority and possible Kelley Honors app in the Spring.
