Are there any requirements to get admitted to Indiana University’s Kelley Business school?

<a href=“Undergraduate | Bachelor's Degree in Business | Indiana Kelley”>Undergraduate | Bachelor's Degree in Business | Indiana Kelley;

Kelley School of business requires that I need a 1270 Sat, can I get admitted to Kelley of Business even if I don’t meet that requirement?

If I don’t get admitted to Kelley, but attend Indiana U, how can i get into kelley?

???/

I don’t understand your question? Apparently you feel you cannot get the score? Remember that the scores you are reading are from previous applicant pools and that scores change every cycle and there is probably NO cutoff…are you from IN? This is a state school…one would think they would be happy to take your higher tuition dollars. I doubt if they turn you down…more likely they take you and count on your dropping out due to difficuty achieving GPA. If you notice the requirements you state are for admission as a Frosh…therefore you can complete the requirements and get admittance at any point beyond.

Only a limited number of freshman are admitted directly into Kelley. The majority are admitted as sophomores (I think), after a year at IU. You would not have any problem getting in as a soph if you do reasonably well at IU as a freshman.

I believe that Kelley is at two campuses…are admissions difficulty the same for each? I should think not.

Most people get in sophomore year. Which really isn’t that hard. There is certain classes you must first take, and if you make a 3.0 or higher your pretty much guranteed a spot. But first you need to be able to get into the college. But if you have at least a 3.0 it should be easy.

Which school are you speaking of? Bloomington and Indianapolis? Neither school is that difficult for admission…I should think if you are outside the state it may even be easier for you would be paying more $$$

Is it really easier out of state? Cause the school said that generally instate you need to be in the top 50% of your class to get in. Where out of state you need to be in the top 1/3. But everyone here says it’s easier out of state. And I’ve also heard that it’s easier from students when I went up to tour the campus. So who’s right?

Nuff said!!

That’s good. Now I have even better chances of getting in, when I apply in August.

The Indianapolis campus is IU/PUI. Admissions standards are much more relaxed and are comparable to most states directionals.

I got already got accepted to Indiana University-Bloomington. I got a 3.7 GPA, and a 1100 on my SAT. Do you think I can get directly amitted to the Kelley School of business without a 1270? ( I think teh 1270 is one of teh requirement) I don’t want to wait till my sophmore year!

I doubt that you will get a freshman admit into Kelley based on your SAT score, but I’m not an admissions person there! You can get in like most people as a soph.
