Kelly Admission Questions

Just to add to what scrabblemomb said, this is taken directly from the Kelley Undergraduate Admissions site at <a href=“Undergraduate | Bachelor's Degree in Business | Indiana Kelley”>Undergraduate | Bachelor's Degree in Business | Indiana Kelley;
For fall 2015 admission, you will automatically be offered direct admission to the Bloomington Kelley School of Business if you have:
Been admitted to IU Bloomington and indicated business as your intended major. See above.
Earned a composite ACT score of 30 (including all four sections of exam) or SAT total score of 1270 (including only math and critical reading sections). The Kelley School of Business accepts superscores for both the ACT and SAT
Earned a cumulative GPA of 3.7 on a 4.0 scale during your high school career. Indiana University accepts weighted GPAs (if provided on the high school transcript). Please note that all GPAs will be converted to a 4.0 scale.
You will only be offered direct admission if you have met all of these requirements. Direct admission is offered solely on these stated criteria. If you meet the criteria for direct admission any time between August 1, 2014 and July 31, 2015, you will be offered direct admission to Kelley.

So right now, unfortunately you do not meet the criteria for direct admission. If you meet one of the two criteria (GPA or ACT/SAT) and are very close to meeting the other one, you can submit a petition for direct admission, but I don’t know exactly how that process works or how many students get direct admit via petition.

This page tells you exactly what you will need to do your freshman year to prepare to apply to Kelley as a Standard Admit:

There is a TON of good advice in the Indiana University thread here on College Confidential about WHICH classes to take to fulfill the standard admit requirements (and which to avoid). Please do take the time to read those if you consider going that route.

You can minor in business at IU without being in Kelley. This page has more info:
