We are having similar experiences! WL for us, too. No visit, late interview, needs aid.
accepted! full pay but with merit aid + went to their young writers program a few years ago. the acceptance letter was customized which made me very happy
Received an email offering us up to $500 towards travel reimbursement to come visit as an accepted student. Do they offer that to all of their admitted students? Thatâs pretty generous, or a sign what they need to do to lure people to Ohio!
We got that too! A first.
i donât think i got it, at least not as an email
They will also pay for your hotel to stay for admitted students overnight! Congrats on the acceptance! Over the moon here in our house!
After she got in our daughter got this last year, and coupled that with a trip to Oberlin (I think Oberlin comped some/all of the hotel).
Accepted with a 15k/yr scholarship. Price is still too much, so I probably wonât be attending. Good luck to yall!
Question for admitted students: Did you receive a letter or anything else in the mail from Kenyon?
We received a letter and a financial aid document late last week.
In snail mail? No, not yet.
Yes, got the letter and the financial package last week by mail. Snail mail was a nice touch.
I received a package today.
We received a letter of acceptance and a letter with merit aid. Very nice. Canât understand why every college does not do the same!
only received a book
Actually just also received a book. Came right after I responded we had gotten letter and aid info.
hm I never received a letter, but the book arrived a few days ago
I got my acceptance package, but not a booik. Any idea when I can expect the book?
It sounds like everything was mailed together and the old US Postal Service delivers at different times. Itâs hard to believe we had to rely on the post office for college admissions back in the day! After I posted the question, we received both the acceptance letter/aid letter AND the white box containing the book in the mail yesterday. The book is a classy and kind of nerdy touch!
