From the point-of-view of JHU Admissions, if you can’t get credit for an AP exam and you are enrolling at Hopkins, it is not necessary to take the exam. Your specific school may have a different point-of-view, but not taking AP exams will not impact your admission in any way.

<p>Well, if you’re aiming for top schools and get 1s and 2s, then it might not look so good. Otherwise, a few 4s and even a couple of 3s wouldn’t significantly hurt your chances.</p>
