<p>Kitchenaid mixers come in several sizes with different bowl/head configurations. The one that I have is a tilt-head 5 quart mixer. Mine sits in the dedicated corner on the countertop. Im 5’ 6" and I do not need a stepping stool to use the mixer. I agree that with the tilt head configuration the bowl might be a bit hard for an 80 yr old lady to take out, but that’s what rubber mallets are for! One little tap, and the bowl is easy to twist out.
