I have a friend teaching in this kind of program as a side job on Saturdays. He’s white and the owner is Korean. The owner would ask one of the kids to take the on-line MBA class for him. Everything was done in cash and apparently, IRS may not even know the business. It’s in Greater Los Angeles too.

The outdated website kinda reminds me of that. It’s probably done by one of the kids there few years ago and hasn’t been changed since then. Notice the poor presentation - “SAT I score” “ED Data” “RD Data” instead of more specific and clear terms like middle 50%, admit rate…etc. For WashU, the “1470” was the number of students enrolled, not admitted. That’s a pretty bonehead mistake but understandable if he/she was just an average high school student. I haven’t even looked at other numbers closely yet.
