Lack of Andover flexibility?

We don’t need 9-12 AP exams at all I think.

I think it’s only 3 AP exams of scores 5,5,5 minimum but I think they’re looking for maybe 5 considering top British students do 5 A Levels max?

Perhaps Oxbridge does recognize Exeter/Andover as schools that don’t need these 5 APs? I doubt it though as regardless of how good these schools are, they are international and most premier universities are snobbish of their respective country’s educational system.

I’m hopefully going to get the APs with:

Lower - AP Physics, Calc BC and Euro
Junior - AP Economics (x2) if I can get it…
Senior - AP Economics (x2) if I can’t get Junior…

Plus maybe self study a History AP like US History or AP Chem if must? What about you?

shore, shore, shore
u never fail to amaze me haha
Peace.

Shore- US history is a required class during junior year, so don’t self study that. Wait until senior year to take econ. The whole sequence leads up to the last term and you don’t get that if you take it upper year.

Yeah, thanks sugerkim. I’ll just let my advisor guide me through the whole thing.

And bballprep, why no talks on AIM anymore? I miss it…

As for Cambridge, sorry prettyckitty but I was looking on their website and they didn’t mention American students at all. Which is wierd because a while ago I swear I saw that they wanted American students to be doing like either 3 or 5 APs…

I dunno, it might have been British students with A-Levels but the whole website seems to have changed but thats undoubtedly because British students just got their A-Level results and the website might have been reformed to accomodate their questions or cater specifically to them.

If I find it, I’ll either post a link or PM it to you.

shore we keep misses eachother?!?!?
i miss them too
haha i will leave u to ur “andover worries”
haha jk
ttyl

shore,

There is a Google search technique that may help you quickly find the AP info you seek. The technique allows you to specificy a specific website. Type this into Google:

“advanced placement” site:cam.ac.uk

For US applicants, looks like Cambridge wants 3 APs with scores of 5,5,5 or 5,5,4.

Prettyckitty, you can just take the AP English… apparently, English 300 covers Lang & Comp, and I’m taking the AP in the Spring. Mostly, the AP’s in English are just analysis…
