Dang it, I ended up buying another Baggalini online while reading this thread. LOL… It’s the Criss Crossbody. It looks perfect for me. I use foil lined envelopes for my credit cards all the time. I always wear my crossbody with the bag hanging in front. I saw some models with it hanging in back. I’d never do that anywhere for security reasons.
In case you haven’t noticed, I’m a 6pm fiend!!! They also carry Baggallini - lots of nice bags discounted here:

The great thing about cross body bags is carrying them safely in front, with an arm over the top if in a crowd. But for biking, hikes, I sling it around on my back.
Giani Bernini cross body is my favorite. Plenty of compartments. A place for everything.
packmom,
Your Giani not found on abasket’s link.
I bought a baggalini cross body a couple of years ago after someone recommended them here on CC. I intended to use it just for travel, but it was so darn handy it became my everyday purse. I got a Vera Bradley cross body for Christmas, and while I like it, I’m finding that the eye-popping pattern is starting to get old. I made a trip to TJ’s yesterday and found this baggalini http://www.amazon.com/Baggallini-Special-Canyon-Crossbody-Apple/dp/B00VIA8SEQ/ref=sr_1_cc_2?s=aps&ie=UTF8&qid=1428757860&sr=1-2-catcorr&keywords=baggallini+canyon+crossbody there for $20. You all are a bad influence!
That is just the Baggalini I got at TJ Max last month, for that price. It is perfect for organizing my life.

Liked my first one so much that I just ordered another one in a different color.
@abasket We are going to Italy, where it is the law to carry your passport on you at all times, which we will do. I’ve been dreading the neck wallet or waist wallet options as who wants to wear that? So, I bought a silk of both to try them out. It’s not bad at all. If you turn the waist wallet around, it’s quite comfortable and the strap is lightweight and didn’t add any bulk at all to my tummy. I’m tried it on with my more form fitting skirt and tops. I was pleased. For the neck pouch,I looped it around one bra strap, wore it cross body and tucked it into my underwear at the side. Again…couldn’t see it, it wasn’t draping around my neck.
I plan on carrying a bagalleni from TJ Maxx. But what I will put in there are things I can afford to lose…sunglasses, scarf, 40 euros, lipstick…just stuff. If you don’t need your passport in Paris, that would be great.
conmama - yes, the waist wallets worn on your lower back can be quite comfortable. Just make sure you get one with a tight snap connection. I have accidentally opened mine and after some walking, I found it working it’s way down my backside!
My H used to carry one of those silk pouches that hook onto his belt and are worn on the inside of your pants. Modern men’s pants seems to have shallower front pockets so he is considering returning to the pouch.
Thanks Kajon for the tip. I really was surprised at how flat and comfortable it sat behind my back. Now DH won’t as flat as he will have more. He plans on carrying some emergency cash , passport and our CC in his.
