My son applied for the Dyer scholarship, but was not admitted to Lafayette. If you have an interest in social issues, the dyer Yeah center tends to lean more towards these types of projects as opposed to industrial design products. Stick with the social aspect of your application and youâll be noticed.
I know it doesnât feel great when your child is denied admission as was the case here. I would urge caution against making assumptive statements regarding why your son wasnât admitted. Because in truth we will probably never know exactly why your he ended up in the no pile.

Does anyone know if you get something in the mail first? I think I heard they send a lot of their acceptance mail it arrive the day before the portal is updated.
From what I gather from prior year strings, they send out packages in attempt to have people find out via package instead of by portal/email. This may work for those close to Lafayette geographically, and may mean getting a package a day earlier than the email/portal. For those further away (West Coast), youâll likely still find out by email/portal first. At any rate, thatâs what Iâve gleaned from this site.

Based upon prior years, are we expecting a decision tomorrow (3/21)? If so, any idea what time they come out? Anyone receive a package today?
Decisions were released last year on Thursday, March 23rd at 4:00 PM EST.
No package here and we are in NJ.
No package for my student in virginia. Fingers crossed for tomorrow!

No package - CT. I went from âyoull totally get inâ to âuuuummm, i dont knowâ. Not saying the last aloud. D24 even said today she thinks her essay wasnât that great. We will see.
Hello, in Denver here. Does anyone living closer to Lafayette received USPS emails showing their mail for the day (I receive that here). You might be a day closer to knowing if there is a package arriving later today

Iâm three hours from Easton. No good news in the mail today. But no bad news either!
Itâs a reach for us and we have other options but still glad the waitâs almost over.
