<p>I found the Uchicago store to be incredibly worthless for ordering my computer. In addition to this, the “University Discount” at Dell is a rip off, as other coupon codes can get you a cheaper system without the University Discount. Bottom line, my suggestion is to go straight to HP or Dell. I built a fairly good performance laptop (2.4 ghz P duocore, 256mb nvidia 8600GT, 160gb 7200rpm HD, 2g ram) on HP for sub 2,000 dollars, and that was weeks ago so prices have probably dropped. Though you should consider waiting until August to order your computer, as by then prices will have dropped and parts will be better. Good luck.</p>
