So the OOS tuition hike looks like it will be close to 15%. The financial aid reads $30514 per year for tuition for 2018-19 school year, up from $26600. I spoke with admissions and financial aid and they said the Board of Regents meets in July to set the tuition, and there are some significant groups protesting and lobbying to keep the OOS hike from being that high. However, accepting enrollment is due by May 1, so we have to take the leap and hope for the best (or plan for $30K tuition). Doesn’t seem right that it is not set before we commit. I wonder if that is how all schools work?
