Are you international? If not, that question does not apply to you.

It is a question about visa status for international students. If you are a US students, skip it.

I am an international :D

What does sponsored mean for an international? Parents who pay for them? I get the 1-20 part but not that sponsored thing… My parents will pay my tuition. SO I should put yes, then write my Dad’s name?

I have no first-hand knowledge of International admissions. There is a current poster, adambedford, who has a lot of knowledge on the subject. I believe he even has an International Admissions blog. I suggest you PM him. To PM (private message), go to this thread http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/university-southern-california/846160-what-should-i-do-financial-problem.html scroll down to find adambedford, click on his username and choose “send private message.”

He also linked his blog to the USC 2014 Facebook page [USC Class of 2014 - Official | Facebook](<a href=“Facebook Public Group | Facebook”>Facebook Public Group | Facebook) .

Good luck!

Thanks alamemom! however I’m also applying for 2014 so I’m still acquiring more knowledge on the various subjects!

@lifegr: If your parents are paying, I believe they are technically ‘sponsoring’ you. Is this for the Certification of Finances form? If so, yes you should put your parents name in the Sponsor section. Your ‘sponsor’ will then need to prove they can afford the yearly costs.

It is not the financial certificate. It is in the undergraduate application section.
I am thinking of leaving it blank? ; /

thank you for the replies!
