<p>My H asked me to buy some beer for him. I don’t really drink beer, so I didn’t know what to get and picked something. At the checkout I was carded. I was in my 40s - my teenage daughter was with me and thought it was hilarious. What’s even funnier is that when I got home H was mad because I bought non-alcoholic beer!</p>
<p>My D (now 20) has always looked old for her age. When she was 12 she took her then 9 year old brother to the pool. One of his friends asked if she was his mother. They were both horrified.</p>
<p>Also when she was twelve she had to fight at a movie theater that charged a lower children’s rate for 12 and under and wouldn’t believe she was 12. They wanted to see her ID. She was 12 and didn’t have any!</p>
