<p>I never lived on Upper Campus (will be this year, though!) but I had late night classes and found walking back to Holland to be fine… Although, that’s not at all the same. However, I will say that I’ve never felt threatened walking in Oakland at night, and I’m even talking about the times I’d been in South Oakland around 2am. Not necessarily enough experience with Upper Campus to say for sure that it’s the same up there, but I can’t imagine it being much worse.</p>
<p>But keep in mind, there are shuttles that run from right outside Cathedral, on Bigelow, to upper campus. They run about every 10 or 15 minutes, and run until well past 9:30. They’ll drop you right up on Upper Campus, so if you don’t feel comfortable walking you can take those!</p>
