Reading your other threads and responses, I agree completely with the previous poster. Phrases like “lemme guess, you’re Asian” will endear you to no one nor will assuming people “lie about their academic success in an attempt to make others feel bad about themselves.” The former is a bigoted non sequitur and the latter is bizarre paranoia.
Finally, in my adult life, I’ve spent time in numerous online fora. CC is comparatively benign in that there’s almost no drama or acrimony and is more a bastion of civilized redundancy.
