<p>Please note that you would need a law firm to sponsor you for an H1B visa upon graduation. This used to be fairly easy a decade ago, but with plenty of qualified US grads fewer firms are willing to go through the process. H1B visas have also been harder to get and the conversion to permanent residency is far from guaranteed. Finally, certain positions such as Federal clerkships are not open to non-residents. I would talk to some firms in your target area of practice before committing to such a risky proposition.</p>
