Just adding a factoid, I believe the tuition and boarding fee for Le Rosey at the relevant levels was CHF 159,600 this year, which equates to over $200K.

Le Rosey applicants, typically, are not in need of financial aid assistance for tuition & fees. If so, then it would be wise to apply elsewhere.
Average class size at Le Rosey is fewer than 10 students according to its’ website; Le Rosey has a student to teacher ratio of 4 to 1.
Indeed, but I also think there are quite a few families wealthy enough to be comfortable with something like $320K+ total for secondary school, maybe not so comfortable with $800K+ total.
Obviously if the OP’s family is in the category where either would be comfortable for them, as some families are, then that becomes a question of personal priorities.
But I also think that basically drawing only from that pool of families which is comfortable with the higher amount is going to make for predictable differences in composition, even just in comparison to the full-pay families at US boarding schools like Hotchkiss. And then there are all the other students receiving aid.

OP has made a decision and may be experiencing a bit of buyers’ remorse. Unfortunately, the OP has not shared much information as to what factored into his/her decision.
Both are great schools; which is the better school for OP is unclear due to a lack of shared information.

Yes, it is a pretty unusual request for a discussion. Any “thoughts on this topic” we can plausibly give just involve making some general observations about the schools. As to which is a better fit for the OP, that isn’t something we can plausibly assess without knowing a lot more about the OP.
Unless I missed something, the only other piece of information we got was that the OP might want to go to Hopkins. But I agree with another poster, it is really too early for that information to be very meaningful. Like, one would hope that a great secondary school experience could lead to the OP evolving in potentially unexpected ways by the time they are choosing a next step.
And the fact is humans are generally social creatures, and we tend to adapt to our communities. So it is pretty likely what the OP even wants to do next will be influenced by which secondary school they choose.
From a certain perspective that is scary, but from another it can also be comforting, in the sense whoever the OP becomes by the end of their secondary school experience, they may then have a hard time imagining preferring the other path. Which is in fact likely true for both versions of the OP that could be considering the question. They will both be adapted to the experience they have had, and what might happen next from there.

I mean, you’re kidding, right? So you’re saying a school for the wealthy has good matriculation outcomes for their less than 100 graduates? Good to know.
And I love the “exposure to different perspectives” part. I don’t know how it breaks out by class, but if we’re comparing Hotchkiss, they claim students from 35 different countries, with the added benefit of a material number of them not flying private. Kinda definitional that more “different perspectives” can be found outside of the exclusively wealthy than within, if OP cares about that.
And OP, there’s nothing wrong with wanting to just kick it with other wealthy kids. Do you; it’s fine. But go with open eyes if you’re going. Rosey ain’t Groton or Exeter or Hotchkiss. It’s a finishing school for rich kids, and a really fun one for some, from what I’ve heard.
Easy call.
