@luckyjade2024 most don’t, I don’t understand why Lehigh did this so early. I wasn’t expecting to hear back until June at the earliest

This pandemic is creating so much uncertainty they must have compared their numbers to last year and could have been behind. Remember 6 million filed for unemployment benefits This week. We live in a lot of uncertain times. A lot of universities are extending their transfer deadline.
Expect a lot of international students to drop out for the fall especially if they left the US. Domestic students need to plan if parents lost their jobs. Having online classes might force some to delay as the cost is not worth the online setting. This years summer melt is another problem as they cant predict. This year is a nightmare for universities so no need to be surprised. Chicago and Yale have also started.

It says on Lehigh’s website that they don’t offer merit to students off the waitlist. Any chance that could change this year due to the circumstances with less students enrolling? I have a scheduled appointment with my financial aid officer and am hoping to get some merit because I won’t be able to receive enough FAFSA money to attend
I doubt they would change merit. …that is usually awarded to the top percent of incoming students.
Hi! Random question. Can any current Lehigh students speak to the safety, both off and on campus?? I’m worried about feeling safe if I decide to leave campus for anything.
