(Dropped law at AS because teacher was leaving for a baby and the supply teachers are rubbish - i know because she left before for 3 months and it was VERY stressful so decided it wasnt worth it)
I am however taking EPQ, i plan to study the Iran hostage crisis. I have no clue for a predicted grade on that but i would suspect an A as i take very essay heavy subjects and consider myself a good essay writer when they are academic in context.
I am really interested in Lehigh because it has by far one if the best International Relations courses i have come across. Lots of the proffesors also specialise in topics i am intrested in and thus academically it seems a good fit for me. They are D1 which i would like, sounds cheesy but as a brit we dont have these things and i would like to experience that atmosphere + the Laf rivalry is think is so cool. It’s a perfect size, just enough people to meet someone new all the time but not to many i feel lost and homesick. The staff i have seen in videos always seem lovely and welcoming, the move in day videos always make me smile. They have a few clubs i am intrested in like the worldaffairs club I believe it is called and the serve trips are something i would like to be invloved in. Of course they have demonstrated need for international students which is good. It isnt a super nice/studenty area, might seem odd that i like that, but i want to feel like i am in real America, not some student city with lots of tourism. Beyond that, i guess i have always had a feel for the place, its one of the very first colleges i looked at and liked a lot and the only one i still feel as fondly about now.
