Lehigh Class 2022

@helloooall Rejected because of financial aid???

Waitlisted

Accounting Major
Female, 1460 SAT, Asian, 4.03 W GPA

not surprised. got guaranteed transfer to BU but was accepted to BC and rejected from northeastern.

@helloooall they actually said that?

For those who still don’t have a decision posted… refresh like crazy

@helloooall - what does it mean to be rejected due to financial need? I have never heard of that before. I thought Lehigh was need blind and met financial need.

Has anybody been able to talk to someone after being told on their portal to call the admissions office? I just called and only got a voicemail.

Accepted CSB! Anyone get merit aid info or is that coming later?

yeah i got voicemail too

All it says in the decision tab is this, “If you don’t see your admissions decision here, please contact the Office of Admissions at 610-758-3100.”

@lkdlkd00 yeah they are gone for the weekend!

What do people mean who are rejected because of Financial Aid? Does they say that explicitly?

Mine doesn’t have a decision. I called and no one is in the office of course.

my friend doesn’t have her decision either :/// it appears lehigh’s glitchy this year

No decision for D either! Says “if you don’t see your decision please contact the office :((

I got waitlisted! Hey, better than a rejection.

I think that is just so disappointing to leave the office without making sure everyone at least received a decision one way or the other.

Wait… Lehigh is need blind and meets 100% need based! How are all of you getting rejected because of that? Now I’m getting worried, my EFC is $3,000 @-)

I’m still too scared to open my portal, and now this finaid thing is making me even more nervous!

@wildcat1313 Maybe the server is just overloaded. I would keep refreshing. I bet it will appear shortly.

okay that’s actually terrible, I have that dumb call number message. Obviously, they are closed until Monday. How could they mess this up so bad

“Need-blind Admissions. During the admissions process, Lehigh does not consider the family’s ability to cover tuition when making admissions decisions. (It is only during the waitlist period that Lehigh considers financial circumstances, among other factors.)” from Lehigh web!
