If anyone has questions about Lehigh I can try my best to answer them. Congrats to everyone that got in!!
@Coll5678 question…Lehigh says they meet 100% of needs according to their website. I filled out everything that I needed to as far as FAFSA, CSS, etc. (it was checked off in the admissions checklist), but they’re saying I need to pay close to $70k per year! So did they lie on their website?
Accepted! 3.7 wgpa and 1450 sat (720 math 730 reading). Super excited as this was one of my top choices and I’ve received a lot of rejections/waitlists yesterday and today from my other schools. Good luck to everyone with the rest of their college career! It can be disheartening to be waitlisted/rejected but I think this year was one of the most difficult/random years for admissions. I got rejected from my safeties, so don’t lose hope!!
“We are pleased to offer you the federal student aid for which you qualify per the completion of the Free Application of Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Unfortunately, we are unable to offer you any Lehigh institutional need-based aid since you did not complete all necessary application requirements. Though you may still submit the application materials, due to our limited budget we will be unable to offer any institutional aid even if you qualify. For this reason, you must make the decision to matriculate based on the current federal financial aid package only, which we recognize may mean it is not a good financial fit at Lehigh.” @Coll5678
@Coll5678 where are you seeing your financial aid info? Are you an international applicant?
@fingerscrossed40 no domestic, you just log on to the actual portal that they give you, and there’s a tab for accepted students.
@fingerscrossed40 Do you mean the applicant portal that our decisions were released on, or the accepted students portal that we have to create?
@mathnerd1 I think he means the accepted students portal.

I too am confused about financial aid, I would still
need to pay almost the full cost with what they’re showing me as my award. The award seems to be all government stuff though, and not from Lehigh. Can that be right?
@killerbee545 “you did not complete all necessary application requirements.”
If your portal shows that you did complete all the requirements, I would politely reach out to them and ask about it. If they made an error, may be able to correct it.
@Much2learn I completed everything and it was checked off on the admissions portal.
Yeah their financial aid was not that great. Is not guaranteed for four years like Boston University and included several loans,
@Much2learn I was deferred initially, so I had completed all the “necessary application requirements” months before rd application deadlines began.
@killerbee545 they don’t lie on the website in my experience. I did receive a good amount of financial aid to come to Lehigh so even if you filled out everything, they probably thought you had the means to pay for the remaining tuition. I would suggest to everyone that they look into some of the outside scholarship opportunities Lehigh will send you in emails.
@killerbe545 Does it show that in the portal? If so, it would not be the first time a school made a mistake. I would call Monday and ask. If they made an error, I think they would make it right.
@fingerscrossed40 I am a current freshman at Lehigh
Son admitted for CS, but not first choice CS Business, which is fine since he was not sure he wanted the business focus. They said to apply for CSB as first choice, since it impossible to transfer into.
We are from CA. He visited, interviewed, and updated admissions with recent accomplishments. Lehigh was among his top two choices. So nice to finish off a rough week with great news!
Does anyone else have no award from Lehigh? Only federal loans and grants are shown in mine. Definitely not enough :-SS
@killerbee545 Yeah Im getting the same message, I will admit I did never send in one request (one out of 14 different forums I had to fill out) I had on my finaid checklist but solely due to it not being sent a form or any info about what specifically I need to send. This school sucks; like you couldnt just send me a quick email that I needed to send something in before just giving me no aid at all?
@ayutrzi Check your messages you might be getting the same message me and killerbee are getting.
