Would anyone be willing to share their experience with RD to Lehigh? My DD24 is trying to decide if she should ED2 or RD as she is not 100% sure.

Decent EC but nothing amazing
Lehigh takes the majority of its class from ED, so if she is sure she wants to go and you can afford it, by all means go ED!
There are more qualified applicants than spots at most selective schools. While stats are helpful to know, there is just no guarantee even if your stats are way above the average. For some schools ED increases the odds greatly, Lehigh is one of them.
My DD was accepted into the IDEAS program RD last year. ED wasn’t on her radar because she wanted to compare offers. Lehigh came through with the best combination of merit and support/opportunities and she is loving it there so far.

What were her stats?
My daughter was accepted RD last year. Dad is an alum, so I believe that helped. She received $25K per year in merit. She had a 4.78 weighted, 6/220 rank, 1530 SAT, 8 APs (all offered at her school), really, really solid ECs (published research, varsity and club athlete, editor of school newpaper, founded a local volunteer organization).
Ultimately she chose Syracuse. She LOVED Lehigh, but wanted to study forensic science, which Lehigh does not have.
The decision comes out about Lehigh launch. I have you’ve been admitted to Lehigh.
