Less expensive (list price) less obvious schools that attract "good" students

don’t think anyone has mentioned Slippery Rock University. If you go in and keep a 3.0 tuition plus room and board for a basic dorm is around $18000. My DD is a performing arts dorm, an LLC, she is in a dbl room, that has it’s own shower, built in refrigerator and microwave. It is lovely and the total for the upgrade is $21,500. She is doing fantastic there and absolutely loves it. She feels it is a perfect fit for her.
