I prefer to stay in hotels and eat out. Great in Paris, Chicago, SF or Prague but there are vast expanses in the west where the restaurants are either awful or non existent. We did a trip last year through the desert and on to Monument Valley where a trailer or RV would have made it perfect. We want to take more wild and wooley trips like that. Out into the great “unknown”.
Friends of ours just bought a huge one that has the ability to house their SmartCar inside. So, no towing and they have a vehicle to use. It’s a beauty but cost well over $100,000. They had rented previously so knew that they would enjoy this kind of travel. It wouldn’t be for me but they are very happy.
An RV big enough to eat a car? Wow. That’s big.
@VeryHappy , if you google car carrying motor homes, you can see some pictures of them. Looks like there are several different kinds that can carry a car.
