<p>I agree it seems strange to give aid whether it be merit based or need based to people who have high EFC when so many lower EFC students are gapped. I just know that 12-15K per year is going to take every ounce of my savings/income. 1 year down, 3 to go. I told my son to not plan on any $$ from me after 4 years of undergraduate. I think he really likes being a student!</p>
