Anyone turning down Loomis or Taft?

Probably Loomis. I’ll see.

I turned down Loomis

Listen guys… This thread is just making me a little nervous. I know waiting on a WL is super hard, but if you start calculating this way (“Well, THIS person turned down school X, so, if she’s a 9th grad girl boarder, maybe I’ll be getting that call”), I think you’ll be driving yourself a little crazy. Remember, all schools admit more than they can take, estimating a yield (yes, even A & E sometimes get turned down). It’s only when their estimate of that yield are too low that they go to their Waitlist. I really hope you all get good news, but I just don’t want you to get super disappointed all over again. There’s always hope, which is great, but don’t start thinking every turn down you see on these boards means someone’s getting in off the WL. I know you know this, just reminding you.

Turned down Groton Hope sb gets off the waitlist though :)

Anyone turning down St. Paul’s or Milton?

Turned down loomis already. Good luck everyone

@Cariar where are you attending next fall?

I turned down Milton, but I’m a girl.

@needtoboard, i am still thinking. Ehat about you?

@Cariar I’ll be attending Exeter as a new lower with @boardingjunkie!

We are revisiting Milton on Monday (9th grade girl)

@needtoboard Congratulations! I am on Exeter wait list

@Cariar: Hope you get off! :)
