<p>Hi…my freshman daughter is in the school of communication as a theatre major, may pursue MT certificate–audition held end of freshmen year I believe. She did not audition to get into the theatre program-it was strictly applications/essays/Sats/recommentation letters.She wanted the academic rigors of an elite university coupled with a recognized theatre program. She is not in the 5 year program-but-she is heavily involved with MT, and is taking additional voice lessons/class by audition after she arrived on campus in September. She feels her counselor is pointing her in the direction to maximize her interests in voice/performance. I hope this insight helps. A mom</p>
