<p>A few things I know.</p>
<p>The last graduation rate for four years I saw was 79%. For African American kids it was 78%. They must do something right.</p>
<p>As for Academic reputation people contacted my daughter for summer jobs. One is teaching calculus to high school kids at an academy several states away from South Carolina. Lead America hires staff from top universities and colleges. They contacted my daughter so they consider Furman a top school.</p>
<p>Parents on the West Coast alway tell me “Furman I’ve never heard of it.” I tell them its one of the place you go if you’re really smart.</p>
