<p>USC also offers SURF/SOAR/Provost funds for research projects during the school year (SOAR/Provost) and summer (SURF/Provost). Students can get up to 3K per semester/summer for research projects. You can apply for SURF funds to help off set costs of Problems without Passport adventures.</p>

<p>**Another big advantage of the T/P scholarship is that it can be applied towards summer classes or Problems without passport class. When added with SURF funds, it really brings down the cost of such a summer class. I think there is a limit to how many times you can do this but I am not sure and couldn’t find the link tonight.</p>
